About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

All farming businesses were sent a letter in early June explaining that Enhanced Greening conditions will be in place for 2026 Basic Payment Scheme claims.

This event is an opportunity to learn:

  • What is enhanced greening
  • Who does it apply to
  • What are the options available to you

Hearing about the changes for 2026 now gives an opportunity for discussion, allowing you to figure out the best options for your business, as well as giving time for changes to be implemented on the ground where required for 2026 and beyond.

We will also have the opportunity to hear from farmer and business owner, Jo McNichol, about their diversification journey. She will tell us about their award winning cafe, Drift, and their future plans for the business. After the meeting we will head along to drift to see the cafe, orchard and sauna. For those who wish there will also be the chance to try out the sauna and if you're feeling brave you can follow with a sea swim!

Tea, coffee and delicious home made treats from Drift will be served on arrival at 10:45, ready for the meeting to start at 11. Lunch will be provided at the farm. The formal part of the meeting will finish at 1, when we will head along to the cafe and sauna.

All welcome. Booking essential.
