The London Office of Technology and Innovation (LOTI) helps London boroughs collaborate on projects that bring the best of digital, data and innovation to improve services and outcomes for Londoners.

What's coming up?

In an effort to be transparent about what we do, who's involved, and how we do it, we publish weeknotes on our website.

We appreciate that you may not have the time to fully digest those, so at the start of the year we piloted a series of Show & Tells featuring local government officers, our commissioned experts and researchers and peers in other regions. You can watch the full playlist here.

We've taken the time to iterate the format and queued up some more sessions to share progress on our projects. We've also set some time aside to share a monthly update on the successful Digital and Data projects as part of LOTI's Covid Innovation Fund.

Each Show & Tell will conclude with an opportunity to ask questions directly and pose challenges to our way of thinking or share areas of interest for scaling and developing our tools, resources or approaches.

Covid Innovation Fund - Preventing vulnerable residents from reaching crisis

At this final, hour-long session, you have the opportunity to hear first-hand from colleagues in Newham and Hackney about the LOTI Covid Innovation Fund digital project to develop a preventative approach for supporting vulnerable residents. Join us as we look back and share our experience of working on a pan-London collaboration project, sharing the the initial prototypes of the outputs we've developed, how we intend to evaluate its success, and the lessons we've learned along the way.

Remote working has given us an unprecedented opportunity to connect with a wider network of people and we'd like to take full advantage of that. One of LOTI's founding workstreams is an ambition to foster better partnerships for local government. That means encouraging more effective collaboration and relationships with other public sector departments, private sector suppliers, not-for-profits and universities.

We want to be radically transparent about what we do, and this is yet another step we're taking to doing just that.
