LOU KYME BAND
Event Information
About this event
Lou is an Americana singer, songwriter and guitarist based in London, UK. Lou grew up playing music with her family’s band, the Okeh Wranglers. The band’s output was prolific, releasing six albums on London’s Fury Records and touring extensively in Europe building a reputation with a unique sound and high musicianship. Twenty years on, after a career in the creative industry and a life lived, Louise took a pilgrimage back to the Continental Club, and came upon Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express. The stars aligned, friendships formed, mixed experiences merged. And after two years songwriting, Louise took a trip to San Francisco to record her debut solo album ‘What’s The Worst that Can Happen’, with Chuck, Stephie and the gang. Now promoting that album with her British band of Jim Maving, guitar, slide guitar (Dean Owens), Joe Hazell, bass (Curse of Lono) and Neil Findlay, drums (Curse of Lono) Lou is building a reputation and fantastic reviews across the UK.
