'Love, Betrayal, Death'

Come with us on a musical extravaganza where tenor Yuri and sopranos Monique and Luciana draw us into a fantastical world of love and romance, of envy and betrayal, of tragedy and death. Our stars will delight you with their glorious voices and superb technique as they perform songs portraying a huge range of emotions, from the greats of Italian music.

Featuring arias from best loved operas such as The Barber of Seville, La Traviata, La Boheme, Rigoletto and L'Elisir d'Amore written by the finest composers of Italian opera including Donizetti, Rossini, Puccini and Verdi, this concert will be a treat for music lovers and opera lovers in particular - staged in the beautiful setting of St Giles' Cripplegate Church! The singers will be accompanied on the Steinway Grand piano by accomplished pianist Caroline Jaya-Ratnam. Concert goers will also enjoy a mini wine tasting, PLUS a complimentary glass of wine or fruit juice with tasty snacks during the intermission. Not to be missed!

Arias will include:

  • 'Si mi chiamano Mimi' [La Boheme, by Puccini]
