Fancy trying your hand at a rom-com?
In this workshop we’ll explore how to dream up the perfect couple, create an original meet-cute and write a sizzling romance.
The workshop day will include:
- tutored sessions,
- writing time
- personal and group feedback.
Led by experienced writing facilitator Clare Reddaway. Clare’s first workshop at the Mission went down a treat. Participants said:

Workshop tutor: Clare is an award-wining short story writer and playwright. Through her company A Word In Your Ear she produces regular live literature events in Bath such as Story Fridays, Stories At The Farm and Festive Doorstep Stories. Clare has run popular writing workshops for many years. Her background as a script editor for BBC Drama and Granada TV and MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa has given her experience of working with a wide range of writers.
Further info: The workshop is aimed at over-18s. The workshop aims to be supportive and encouraging to writers at all levels. Beginners and more experienced writers are all welcome! Maximum number 15. For more information please contact Clare on clare.reddaway@btinternet.com.

If the weekend of workshops cannot go ahead due to revised COVID-19 regulations, or the Mission Theatre/A Word In Your Ear cancels the event due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund (excluding Eventbrite booking fee).
