"FOR THE LOVE OF MUD" TEASER-2 from benedict campbell on Vimeo.
A special screening of the film For the Love of Mud, the fourth film in a line of successful documentaries by the photographer and film-maker Benedict campbell (http://www.benedict1.com/filmmaker.html).
For the Love of Mud is a Feature-length documentary illustrating the beauty of Cyclo-Cross. A curious hybrid of winter racing that came long before the mountain bike, it’s played out in muddy fields and practically a religion in Belgium. Rapidly expanding in the rest of the world, this film captures the tight-knit ’CROSS community, from Sven Nys, Katie Compton and Britain's own Helen Wyman.
Experience the energy and enthusiasm enjoyed by the riders, from the rookies to the rock stars, as they participate in the renaissance of this sport.
The film includes interviews from:
Sven Nys, Keith Bontrager, Katie Compton, Helen Wyman, Jeremy Powers, Yu Takenouchi, Ben Berden, Ben Sumner, Rony De Vos, Sven Vanthourenhout, Charles Vanhoutte, Rob Jebb, Simon Burney and John Mullineaux.
The screening will take place in the newly refurbished St Margaret's Hall in Bradford-on-Avon on Saturday 7 March 2015. It will be a fantastic opportunity to come together and enjoy this much talked about film with the local community.
Doors will open at 7.45 p.m. The film will commence at 8 p.m - please arrive in good time and bring a print out of your ticket confirmation.
We look forward to seeing you there!
