About this Event
From 1-15 September 2020, the Bandstand Chamber Festival and Wandsworth Council will present a high-quality series of free, outdoor chamber music concerts. The performances will be part of the Love Parks Wandsworth campaign, which encourages residents to enjoy their local parks and opens paces. There will be four top string quartets, performing some of the greatest pieces of classical music to a socially-distanced audience in Battersea Park, using the beautiful Victorian bandstand as a stage.

No entry without a ticket, tickets will be checked on arrival (printed or on your phone). Suitable for all ages. All children require a ticket except babes in arms.
Social distancing measures will be in place at all times and regular sanitation of the space will be taking place to ensure the safety of ticket holders and staff members. Multiple sanitation stations will be available in place around the event site.
Seating is provided, but not allocated. Audience members are asked to keep to their households and social bubbles in line with Government guidance and will be allocated an area to bubble on arrival.
The maximum size of a social bubble will be 6, groups larger than 6 will be split across two bubbles. Pushchairs and buggies are permitted, but will require a ticket for space allocation. Wheelchair users will be seated with their social bubbles.
Seats can be taken from 6pm. The performance will start at 6.30pm and last an hour, there will be no interval.
Light Refreshment will be available to purchase at the event; card payment only will be accepted, no cash. Food may be brought on site, but no glass bottles or other glass items are permitted in the Park.
The Bandstand is accessible from all Battersea Park Gates. Car Parks are available at Albert, Chelsea and Rosery Gates.
Attendees are asked to limit personal possessions to a minimum to assist with social distancing. No lockers or cloakrooms are available onsite. Dogs may be brought to the event, but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Ticket holder’s information from Eventbrite will be kept for 21 days to support the NHS Test & Trace service, unless you have chosen to opt out.
