Love Unleashed is a new series of events, workshops and talks focussing on queerness, kink, sensuality, sexuality and gender in London's cosiest event space, Love Shack.

These events will bring together some of London's top sexuality and kink educators, experts and professionalls to share their knowledge in an intimate and informal setting on the third Thursday of the month.

We welcome everyone, from the carefully curious to the exceptionally experienced.

Each evening will feature a one hour talk or workshop, followed by a Q&A and a social, with our resident DJ playing on into the evening.

Tickets are priced at £12.50, with a limited number of reduced tickets at £10 for those struggling. We also have an option to pay £15, for those feeling flush this month and happy to pay a bit more to support the venue and workshop leaders.

Doors 7pm, event starts at 8pm sharp (please try to arrive on time to avoid disruption).

First up, on the 16th January, we have Mama Bear with The Erotic Art of Passive Aggression, where the defiant thrill of "bratting" takes center stage! If you've ever felt the irresistible urge to push back, playfully resist or be a little bit of a handful, this workshop is here to show you how to channel that energy into pure, transformative play.

Led by Mama Bear, this interactive experience dives into the art of performative resistance - how we do it, why we do it, and how we can harness it. Together, we’ll explore how the act of pushing boundaries and playfully resisting can unlock powerful insights about ourselves and our relationships. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned brat/tamer, this session invites you to explore this side of kink with fresh eyes, as a place to embrace resistance, defiance, and even tantrums in ways that nurture connection, understanding, and trust.

This isn’t about “misbehavior” for its own sake; it’s a chance to find power in your resistance, express yourself fully, and feel the pleasure that comes from safe, consensual rebellion. Through games that are both fun and eye-opening, you’ll practice expressing emotions that are often suppressed: frustration, dissatisfaction, and that delicious streak of stubbornness—all within a safe, supportive environment. You’ll have the space to explore how it feels to challenge others and feel heard, to push against boundaries and still be held.

We begin with consent games designed to help you feel grounded and prepared, making sure everyone can navigate the experience in a way that’s right for them. From there, get ready for immersive, laughter-filled exercises that will encourage you to express and explore new aspects of yourself. In The Erotic Art of Passive Aggression, you’ll discover that “bratting” isn’t just playful defiance—it’s a path to joy, connection, and authentic self-expression.

So come prepared to stomp, pout, and push. Your bratty side has been waiting for this!

Mama Bear (He/They) is chubby, giggly, queer dominatrix and kink educator running workshops, coaching and retreats in the UK and Germany. Wouldn't say no to somewhere sunnier, but look, it is what it is.

20th February - Rosy Pendlebaby - Smutty Letters

Rosy Pendlebaby (she/they) is a queer performer, facilitator, and activist, working in the UK and internationally, making work that explores the intersection of creativity, pleasure, and change-making. She is director of body positive life drawing project, Body Love Sketch Club, and of creative lab for rebellious arts, Revolting Arts Club. Since launching the ‘Smutty Letters’ project online in 2020, she has gone on to perform and facilitate it at Edinburgh Fringe, London Vault Festival, Cheltenham Literature Festival, Soho House, Wilderness Festival, Glasgow Comedy Festival, Shambala, and more.

Say goodbye to the fast and flaccid romance of the digital age, as we celebrate and revive the lost art of the Smutty Letter! Drawing inspiration from some of the finest, funniest, and filthiest love letters in history, by both famous and little known authors, and through some playful, guided exercises, we'll explore ways of committing our love, lust and longing in epistolary form! This talk/ workshop is a heart-warming antidote to these strange and disconnected times, suitable for all those wanting a bit more good old-fashioned romance (and filth!) in their lives, regardless of gender, sexuality or relationship status.
