Love can be a blessing and curse. A blessing when it’s mutual and harmonious. When we love someone and they love us, truly live us, this means treating us with love and not treating us with no care. This means making an effort to do lovely things for our loved ones, sometimes to sacrifice ones own wants to please the other. Sometimes live can be a curse for a person who can’t leave their abusive loved ones, or if their loved ones are addicts. They stay with them because of love, love for the other, but where is the self love? Taking simple, clear and direct action steps towards what we want, is logical and works, but often it’s a case of not knowing what steps to take, or trying to take a step that are too big, that stops us reaching our destination.
