LOVE THE SHAPE YOU'RE IN!
Do you have a few items in the wardrobe you love which have 'shrunk' during the Summer or just don't feel 'right' so you never wear them?
Bring them along to the 'Love the Shape Your In' event at Swansea Repair Space on Wednesday 22 October 2026 from 6pm to 8pm.
You'll change into and model the garment for our Repair Cafe fixer, Jacks, who will give advice on how to alter it to fit. If that's not a solution, she'll suggest you 'free it to the universe', to make room in your wardrobe for something that will make you 'Love the Shape You're In'!
How it works:
You will changes into the item (behind a screen or closed area).
They model the item in front of me and the group.
Jacks our superb seamstress will discuss how to alter the item to make the garment fit (sometimes pinning), or suggest they 'free it to the universe' for someone else to enjoy. (Often someone in the group will offer to buy the item from them.)
BOOKING
We operate a refundable deposit ticket system for this event. Refunds are available on your booking when you attend the event or if you cancel with 7 days notice.
We want to make sure that there are minimal barriers for people attending our events. If the deposit will be a barrier for you attending please get in touch with chris@environmentcentre.org.uk and we will book you a free ticket.
