More people than ever are struggling to make positive choices when it comes to food and lifestyle. Despite so many different government initiatives, endless weight loss programs, more gyms, more food designed specifically for weight loss, more health related TV programs, more healthy option cook books…there are still millions of people blaming themselves for not being able to make simple healthy choices on a daily basis.


But what if I told you that it’s not about ‘what‘ you’re eating but rather it’s about ‘why‘ you’re eating it! What if I told you that the one thing you’ve likely never tried before could likely be the key to unlocking your struggles with living a healthier and happier life? What if I told you that once you spend some time getting to the root of what is keeping you stuck where you are the you can finally begin to move forward?


For over 16 years of my life I battled with my weight and with making healthy choices when it came to my body. I tried every diet out there and ever time would lose weight through will power and sheer determination only to pile it all back on again just a few months later. My life revolved around food, what I ate, how much I weighed and which clothes I could fit into. It affected my mood, my confidence, my relationships and at times it seemed to rule my life.

I eventually reached the point where I just couldn’t face another diet. Weeks of obssessing and recording everything I’d eaten. Trying to save up points or syns for the end of the week so I could have a guilt free blow out (although they are never guilt free really are they!). I finally made the decision to just start and be a bit kinder to myself and see what would happen. To focus less on the wrong stuff I was choosing to eat and more on how I could add extra nourishment into my diet.

It didn’t take me long to finally realise why I had struggled with making healthy choices for so many years. My issues weren’t about what I was doing but why I was doing it. My issues were rooted at an emotional level. And low and behold once I began to work on those I gradually wanted to eat better, to move more and looking after myself became second nature rather than a continual struggle.



It was overcoming my own issues with food that led me to want to help others to do the same as a certified Health and Wellness coach. I want to help you to finally break free from your struggle with making healthy choices. To be able to start and use your time to enjoy life instead of constantly worrying about your food choices, how you look, what you’ll wear or how to get through the next holiday season without going up a dress size.

I will be sharing the same tools and techniques that I use in my coaching practise with my 1:1 clients. The same techniques that can help you to start loving your body, eating well and most importantly living more!

I know that at times it can feel as though nothing works but trust me when I say that YOU have the power to make the changes that you want to see.


During the workshop we will be working on…


-How to identify what it is that is keeping you attached to making poor food and lifestyle choices and how to begin working on finally breaking free.

-Understanding why it isn’t just as simple as ‘move more and eat less’.

-Why diets just don’t work and why it is finally time to say goodbye to them for good!

-Adding in simple but effective techniques for leading a healthier, more energetic and more confident life. Practises that aren’t about denial and willpower but that celebrate life and vitality.



Included in the workshop there will also be a juicing/smoothie demonstration and tasting session as well as a delicious healthy lunch prepared by the chefs at Seaham Hall.
