Are you a healthcare professional who entered this field with passion and purpose, but now find yourself going through the motions, feeling disconnected or disillusioned?

You're not alone. Research shows that meaningful work, positive relationships, and enjoyment of daily tasks are the strongest predictors of workplace happiness - yet these often get lost in the pressures of modern healthcare.

The challenge of loving healthcare work today

With increasing admin burdens, time pressures, and system constraints, it's easy to lose sight of why you chose healthcare in the first place. Many dedicated professionals find themselves focusing on what's wrong rather than what's meaningful about their work.

What makes this workshop transformative?

Dr Phil Regan understands that loving your work isn't about toxic positivity or ignoring real challenges. It's about reconnecting with your deeper purpose, building authentic relationships, and finding ways to express your unique strengths within the constraints of healthcare systems.

Frequently asked questions

Is this suitable for all healthcare roles?

Yes! While examples may draw from various healthcare settings, the principles apply whether you're a GP, nurse, healthcare assistant, therapist, or any other healthcare professional.

What if I'm genuinely unhappy with healthcare work - is this just about positive thinking?

Not at all! This isn't about forcing positivity or ignoring real problems. It's about practical strategies to either find fulfilment within your current role or gain clarity about whether changes are needed.

Will this be confidential?

Yes. We maintain strict confidentiality, and you're welcome to share only what feels comfortable. Many participants find the group format supportive and validating.

Do I need any special equipment or preparation?

Just a quiet space, stable internet connection, and ideally a pen and paper for notes. All materials will be provided.

This is Part 3 - do I need to attend all three workshops?

Each workshop stands alone and provides value independently. However, the three parts are designed to build on each other for maximum impact: Part 1 (Making Work Easier), Part 2 (Working on Restoration), Part 3 (Loving Work More).

What if I can't attend live?

We have a refund policy of 100% if unable to attend one week before. Anything up to the day before is a 50% refund. There is no refund within 24hours of the event.

My workplace culture is quite negative - can I really make a difference as one person?

Yes! Research shows that positivity and appreciation are contagious. We'll explore practical ways to influence workplace culture while protecting your own wellbeing.

I'm worried about being vulnerable or authentic at work - what if it backfires?

We'll discuss appropriate ways to bring more of your authentic self to work while maintaining professional boundaries. This is about genuine connection, not oversharing.

What if I love patient care but hate the admin and system pressures?

Perfect! We'll explore how to maintain connection to what you love while developing better strategies for dealing with the aspects you find challenging.

Will this address dealing with difficult colleagues or workplace conflict?

Yes! We'll cover practical communication strategies and approaches to workplace relationships that can transform your daily experience.

What if I feel guilty focusing on my own happiness when patients are suffering?

We'll address this directly. Healthcare professionals who find fulfilment in their work actually provide better patient care and contribute more effectively to healing environments.
