Low-Carbon Fertiliser Strategies: Practical Use and Farm Value Creation
Overview
Over the past two years, Crop Intellect, UK Agri-Tech Centre, Dyson Farming, The Allerton Project, University of Lincoln, and Barworth Research have collaborated on an Innovate UK-funded project to tackle one of agriculture’s biggest challenges: reducing reliance on synthetic nitrogen fertilisers and cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
In this webinar, we will share trial outcomes and practical insights for the use of N-fixing endophytes and R-Leaf® foliar spray—two technologies designed to support smarter, greener farming. We will also discuss how these solutions can be combined to not only reduce synthetic fertiliser use but also remove harmful nitrous oxide (N₂O) from the atmosphere.
Discover how these innovations can unlock new revenue streams linked to greenhouse gas removal—helping you to future-proof your farm and boost profitability.
Key reasons to attend:
- Gain independent, practical evidence on the performance and combined use of R-Leaf® and N-fixing endophytes.
- Hear from the industry how supply chains are incentivising low-carbon farming.
- Explore new revenue opportunities for farms — including carbon credits, premium contracts, and in setting schemes linked to verified N₂O removal.
- Earn BASIS points (TBC) while expanding your knowledge of sustainable agriculture.
