Expert advice and grant support to help SMEs reduce thier carbon footprint

Aston University has launched a free low carbon business support programme to help smaller businesses replace old, inefficient equipment and provide dedicated one-to-one academic support to assist SMEs in reducing their carbon footprint.

The event is open to high-energy-using SME’s, in Birmingham and Solihull, including East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Tamworth, Bromsgrove, Cannock Chase, Redditch, and Wyre Forest.

Eligible companies can apply for up to 50% per cent of the capital costs of equipment, up to a maximum value of £12,250.

WHY ATTEND?

1. Save money on upgrading plant and equipment to reduce energy costs with grants up to £12,250 (matched by company’s own funds) 

2. Sign up to a free 2-5 day diagnostic identifying energy and process efficiency savings

3. Networking opportunities with industry experts including Rolls Royce and HS2 Engine for Growth

4. Learn how to take advantage of lucrative supply chain opportunities by enhancing your low
carbon credentials

5. Increase production & productivity through long term collaboration opportunities with Aston University academics
