What challenges do you face switching from synthetics to low impact, regenerative fibres and material?
70% of the footprint of fashion products are at the material stage - shifting to low impact regenerative and recycled fibres and fabrics is essential.
The industry is propped up by fossil fuels which are responsible for 89% of global GHG emissions. Two thirds of fibres and materials are produced with fossil fuels as are the dyes used to colour, print and finish them.
Fashion needs to cut overall production and switch to low impact, natural materials produced through the principles of regenerative organic agriculture, favouring small scale and local producers.
Join this webinar and learn more about:
- Regenerative agriculture
- Circular economy
- Natural fibre and dye systems
- Restoration of ecosystems & biodiversity
- Adopting better buying practices
Our panel is a mix of experts, coming at this issue from different angles and areas of the industry.
