Event synopsis

The income and employment prospects of half a million low income households across London are being tracked by Policy in Practice.

The 18 month project is supported by Trust for London and analyses household level data over time from eighteen London Boroughs.

Phase 2 of the project focuses on:

  • Employment: Understanding the effect of the benefit cap on employment outcomes of low income households
  • Homelessness: Understanding the causese of homelessness and using a predictive approach to prevent it
  • Living Standards: Understanding how the living standards of low income Londoners have changed
