Marking Derek Jarman's tenure as our Author of the Month for May, we're delighted to show his remarkable 1986 biographical drama about one of Western Art's greatest painters, starring Nigel Terry, Sean Bean, Robbie Coltrane, Dexter Fletcher and Tilda Swinton in her film debut.

Jarman's friend and biographer Tony Peake will be in conversation with Gareth Evans, Whitechapel Gallery Film Curator, after the screening.
