LSBUD is pleased to announce the eighth annual National Damage Prevention Day, taking place on 9th June 2026 at the prestigious Hilton at St George’s Park, Burton-On-Trent.
This flagship event is dedicated to promoting the prevention of damage to utility networks across the UK and will once again be supported by the industry-leading report Digging Up Britain, which highlights the vulnerability of our utility infrastructure.
As the UK’s foremost event focused on damage prevention and safe excavation practices, the 2026 programme promises a comprehensive agenda tailored to a wide range of industry professionals. Attendees can expect the return of popular features from previous years, alongside exciting new additions designed to enhance the experience and engagement throughout the day.
A key highlight for 2026 is the introduction of the National Safe Digging Awards Evening.
Following the growing success of 'The Larries'—introduced by LSBUD in 2023—this dedicated evening celebration will elevate recognition for outstanding contributions to safe digging practices. The evening will include a drinks reception, three-course dinner, an after-dinner speaker, and the awards presentations themselves.
We warmly invite you to join us for both the daytime event and the awards evening to celebrate the fantastic efforts our industry goes to in order to encourage and promote best practice. We are delighted to offer a 10% early bird discount on all combined tickets booked before 31st December 2025.
A variety of ticket options are available, including packages with accommodation at the venue, sponsorship packages are also available on request. For any queries, clarification regarding ticketing or details of sponsorship options, please contact marketing@lsbud.co.uk.
