About this Event
The aim of these webinars is to learn as a team and to give a greater understanding of the selected topic/case from multiple perspectives. The Grand Rounds are suitable for all members of staff.

What is the Agenda?
Come along and experience the unique transdisciplinary team work in our secure Acquired Brain Injury Service at Guild Lodge
The Round will be in 3 parts:
Session 1 – The brain and the injured brain
Session 2 – A Case Study – we explore A’s story – looking at executive functioning and memory impairment
Session 3 - We look at treatment strategies including cognitive rehabilitation formulation and Positive Behaviour Support
This is how the session will flow:
9.30 am start – Welcome to the Secure ABI Service at Guild Lodge
09.35 – 10.10 – How did this happen? An overview of the brain and the injured brain
10.15 – 10.55 - How am I doing? A case study. During this session we will discuss A’s story and begin to explore executive functioning and memory impairment.
11.00 - 11.45 – How can you help me? We explore treatment strategies – the cognitive rehabilitation model and Positive Behaviour Support
11.45 -12.00 – Q&A session
