An Introduction to ACEs: Safeguarding beyond procedures (Tiane Graziottin)

In this introduction, participants will learn about the origins of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and key developments in the ACEs movement in the UK.

There will be opportunities to gain an understanding of the crucial role of ACE-awareness in safeguarding, reflecting upon policies and procedures and our responsibility to transcend them via a trauma-informed approach to build healthier and safer relationships and communities.
