Event description

Description

Various studies show that paying attention to fostering the right culture and environment for employees and taking steps to inspire and engage employees in the right way can have a significant impact on performance. Our October briefing will focus on the steps required to plan and build a wellbeing strategy which aligns with your school development plan taking into account work demands, working environment and resources, communication, relationships, employee engagement as well as promoting employee welfare. Managers will need to consider what to prioritise, who is responsible for what, how to measure the impact, when to communicate and possible external partners to work with. There may already be some wellbeing initiatives in place – are they working and do they support what you are trying to achieve?

We will look at:
• Analysing the current climate – what are the issues and drivers
• Employee engagement and contribution
• Creating a wellbeing strategy which will have impact
• Case study examples specific to schools
• Options and resources available to managers to improve wellbeing
• Tools and techniques to identify and manage stress in employees
• Plus, how to have difficult conversations with employees when required

This workshop is presented in conjunction with FusionHR who now support over 300 schools and have extensive education experience to share with you.

It will also feature a session with Stress Specialist Nikki Lloyd Graeme, The Stress Specialist.
