Event description

Description

Despite a recent commitment to invest heavily in child and adolescent mental health services in the coming fiscal year, the UK government has not undertaken a survey of children’s mental health since 2004. Extant literature focuses narrowly on specific mental health conditions or risk factors; a broader picture of children’s mental health in the UK is needed.

To fill this gap, we are hosting a knowledge exchange workshop at Lancaster University. The conference will bring together stakeholders and academics working at the forefront of children's mental health in the UK to network and participate in a discussion about the state of the field since 2004, including an overview of recent findings and pressing challenges, as well as a brainstorming event focusing on data sources and funding opportunities.

Speakers include leaders at SCAYT+, DCP Faculty for Children, Young People, and their Families, and FDAC National Unit.

Spaces for this event are limited, and registration is required for catering purposes (lunch provided).
