During the darkest time of the year, Lucia brings us a message of light and hope.
Welcome to the Swedish Lucia Carol Service with singers from the Ulrika Eleonora Church Choir, bringing traditional Lucia and Christmas carols to our candlelit and atmospheric Ulrika Eleonora Church.
The two Services at 2pm and 3.30pm on Saturday 13th December are family friendly and suitable for younger children, lasting approximately 30 minutes.
Children under the age of 5 are free of charge but will need a free ticket to be seated in the parent’s or carer’s lap.
All other Services are suitable for adults and older children, lasting approximately 45 minutes.
The services are mainly in Swedish.
After the service, we offer a traditional Lucia fika in the Swedish Hall, which is included in the price. Traditional homemade Glögg can be purchased.
We regret that we can't bring any buggies inside the church during the service, but they will be parked elsewhere in the building.
