This October, a new exhibition takes over Shoreditch for one night only.
Lucid Dreams is a pop-up art exhibition timed with Frieze London, opening at theprintspace Gallery in Shoreditch. The show explores the spaces between imagination and reality, presenting artworks that move beyond simply depicting dreams to instead question them, offering surreal visions, symbolic reimaginings, and shifting states of perception.
The exhibition brings together seven international artists with distinct voices in contemporary art: Valfré, Maria Guimarães, Ella Baudinet, Agnes Cecile, Suhaylah, and Dead Seagull. Between them, their work reaches more than four million followers worldwide, reflecting the strong cultural resonance of their practices. Visitors can expect everything from fluid abstractions and uneasy florals to blurred figuration and portraits rich with symbolism. Together, the works create an immersive, multi layered experience of what it means to dream.
By spotlighting female voices in contemporary art, Lucid Dreams challenges the mainstream narrative and connects with a younger audience drawn to work that is visually intense, culturally relevant, and unafraid to push boundaries. Positioned during Frieze Week, it is also a chance for collectors and audiences to engage with new work at one of the most influential moments in the art calendar.
Alongside the exhibition, there will be limited edition prints and artist designed T-shirts, released through onsite previews and timed online drops across October. On the night itself, the experience will be brought to life further by soothing sound baths and a menu full of botanical inspired cocktails, wine, beer, and soft options. This is a night you don’t want to miss!
Lucid Dreams opens Thursday 16th October at theprintspace Gallery, Shoreditch.
