Lucky Things Meet Up - January 2017

One of the best things about the Lucky Things Meet Ups is getting us all together. To celebrate our new year, the theme for this event is Being Mindful, Being You. There will be plenty of time for catching up, chat-working (what Sunita calls networking), smiles and laughs. This is a ticket-only event as there are only 50 spaces for this Meet Up.

Being Mindful, Being You...

Dr Tamara Russell, a leading expert in mindfulness, will be speaking about #whatismindfulness (also the title of her forthcoming book in 2017). She will be sharing easy and innovative mindfulness tools for us to use in our busy lives. Tamara has just launched the incredible @SewMindful project - a programme combining sewing and mindfulness supporting women who have suffered from post-natal depression.

Tamara is also the Director of the Mindfulness Centre of Excellence in London. Her work covers corporate and public organizations (including the NHS, arts, and creative industries). In her book 'Mindfulness in Motion' (2015), Tamara shares her passion for mindfulness to help individuals lead happier and healthier lives, whatever their starting point.

Sunita from Lucky Things blog will be sharing her 7 Time to Shine tricks for Looking After Yourself.

Venue: The Folly (part of the Drake & Morgan group) is a gorgeous venue right next door to Monument tube station (Circle/District lines), a 3 minute walk from Bank tube station (Northern/Central/DLR) or a 5 minute walk from London Bridge station (National Rail/Northern/Jubilee lines). Our event is being held downstairs where we have the bar area and private room for the talk.

This event is just for the ladies (no babies or kiddies so I appreciate that many will be looking into childcare arrangements). The ticket price includes the Lucky Things goody bag. Explore #LuckyThingsMeetUp on Instagram or Twitter to see what we got up to at the last one!

Tickets aren't refundable but they are transferable should you need to pass your ticket onto someone else. A number of early bird tickets are available until 5 December.

The next Lucky Things Meet Up is being planned for April 2017.
