Join astronomer Kate Earl for a lunar eclipse, where the Full Moon enters Earth’s shadow, and changes colour to a deep brown-red. Unlike eclipses of the Sun, lunar eclipses can be viewed safely with the naked-eye, and we will be doing just that from the top of Hengistbury Head. The Moon will rise fully eclipsed from behind the Isle of Wight - it should be quite a sight! A telescope will be on hand, and there will be lots of Moon facts.

£4 per person. Meet at the Visitor Centre.
