About this event

Join the first session in the returning Sustainable Scotland Network Lunch and Learn series, featuring Consumer Scotland.

Jill Rosie, Assistant Director of Operations and Partnerships, will open with an overview of Consumer Scotland’s role and functions. This will be followed by Fraser Stewart, Research Manager, and Kathryn Gill, Policy and Advocacy Officer, who will introduce the Consumer Framework for Addressing Climate Change.

The framework is designed as a toolkit for policymakers in government, regulators, and businesses to better understand consumer issues linked to Scotland’s transition to net zero.

This session will:

  • Provide an overview of the key messages and recommendations of the framework
  • Introduce the supporting guidance and case studies (e.g. heat networks)
  • Offer attendees the chance to trial the toolkit using a policy area relevant to them
  • Create space for discussion and reflection
