About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

We all know AAC is best modelled through natural scenario’s during everyday life. With children the most motivating medium for this is play. This short training is a whistle stop tour of the different types of play and how AAC can fit into these. Adapting our practise can enable children to access play and to develop their communication and language skills to the best of their ability.

This course is for Speech and Language Therapists. It maps across to IPAACKS Level Two (please see further information on CASEE Eventbrite profile).

This session will be 1 hour long and delivered on Zoom over lunchtime. Joining details will be sent to the email you register with prior to the session.

If there are any adjustments or support that we can provide to make this training more accessible to you, please let us know.
