About this event

Lyons Bowe Solicitors are the South West’s largest property law firm who aim to deliver legal services that are modern, accessible, and client-focused.

Legacy donations are a growing lifeline for the UK’s charitable sector, and since 2023 Lyons Bowe have partnered with the National Free Wills Network, Cancer Research UK and Alzheimers UK to raise over £6 million in legacy donations and charitable gifts. They've also supported smaller, local charities, including Heads Up Somerset, Brainwave, SWEDA, and Mind in Somerset.

Their Legacy Programme, which offers clients a 50% discount on their standard will-writing fees when they choose to leave a gift to a UK-registered charity, also provides charities that register with a dedicated page on the Lyons Bowe website, proactive promotion, monthly reporting and gift notifications.

Join us for this special Lunch & Learn session, where you will hear from Paul Lyons, Managing Director at Lyons Bowe Solicitors, learn more about how their Legacy Programme can support you, and discover how legacy giving can make a lasting impact in your community.

This engaging event will include:

  • Testimonials from leading charities including Brainwave, Alzheimer’s Society, and bibic
  • An interactive Q&A session with Paul Lyons

Tickets to this event are freely available to staff and volunteers from voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations in Somerset, and will be of particular interest to those responsible for fundraising for their group.
