Lunch & Learn - How marketing supports innovation
Event Information
About this Event
Want to develop new products and services?
Need to change what your offer to respond to market and customer changes?
Want to make sure you're at the forefront of innovation?
This is for you.
Marketing and innovation have long worked together. Identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer needs is the very definition of marketing and it's the starting point for innovation.
Both are critical to creating customers and value - the life blood of any business.
But there's a gap between the role marketing could have and does have in innovation.
Aimed at marketers and those responsible for marketing, this workshop looks at how marketing supports innovation.
We'll focus on how you generate and select ideas for new products and services. It will give you tools you can apply straight away - to any marketing-related innovation challenges.
You will learn:
- Why innovation is more important than ever
- What the key frameworks are for driving innovation
- Three idea generating tools you can use back in your teams
- How to run an ideas session, using a real challenge
- Learn how to use an online collaborative whiteboard platform
I'm delighted to welcome Rob Sheffield who will run this workshop. He has over 20 years experience of helping leaders make innovation happen.
Hosted by Rachael Wheatley as part of her monthly Lunch & Learn.
