Description

Social Enterprises are often at the cutting edge of innovation and business practice. Digital technologies are at the very core of the modern economy so how are social enterprises able to more fully engage with digital economy? Chris Dymond outlines how the sector is evolving and how possible links with the social economy are being made.

Jane Shield outlines how Sheffield’s Creative Guild is supporting creative and cultural practitioners to thrive in this disruptive and dynamic business environment

Sheffield Digital: is the organisation for businesses and individuals involved in Sheffield’s digital industries. Its aim is to help develop the best possible environment for setting up, working in and growing digital businesses in Sheffield and the surrounding region.

The Sheffield City Region to accelerate its Cultural, Creative and Digital sectors and stop them being held back from reaching their full potential are supporting key sector advocacy and trade bodies.

The challenges that we collectively face across the City Region are not unique to this part of the UK, but there is a lack of connectivity, representation and cohesive activity to address them. For the City Region to take its place on the national and global stage such organisations can act as a focus and a voice.
