Lunch with the Climate Emergency Network: Planning Earth Week 2026
Overview
Join UAL’s Climate Emergency Network for a get-together lunch to kick-off our Earth Week 2026 programme.
Over the past few years we’ve paraded through London with Carnival of Crisis, and invited our community to take a seat at the table with Appetite for Justice. We've turned campuses into experimental eco-studios with Green House, focused on soil and grassroots action in From the Ground Up, and shared More-than-Human Stories across our colleges.
As we begin programming for our fifth Earth Week celebration, we'll have a chance to surface new themes, explore ways of working, and imagine what Earth Week could offer next for our students, staff and partners. We'll also introduce an opportunity to take up a co-chair positions of the Climate Emergency Network, which will act as positions of advocacy and leadership within the University and helping to shape how UAL responds to the climate and ecological emergency through curation, programming, advocacy and community.
Our event is open to all UAL staff and students and will take place in the CSM Platform Bar. A simple vegetarian/vegan lunch will be provided. Bring with you curiosity for climate action in art, design and media: no fully-formed proposal needed, just your questions, instincts and enthusiasm.
