Event description
Air Commodore David Manning and Past Master Peter Hewitt introduce the Entrepreneurs' second RAF affiliate, and ways you can get involved.

About this Event

Our new RAF Affiliate oversees and co-ordinates the movement of personnel, material and equipment around the globe in support of operations and it has never had a more capable and reactive transport fleet than it does now. Find out more about the people and purpose of the RAF’s Air Mobility Force, and how the Company of Entrepreneurs will be working with them.

Livery Companies have supported the military for centuries, supplying weaponry, men and money in the defence of London and the UK. The Company of Entrepreneurs is proud to maintain this tradition, and has fostered its own links in the 21st Century.

The Entrepreneurs supplies its partners with skills, experience and hospitality in support of their valuable and vital work of the armed forces across the UK and the world.

The RAF Air Mobility Force

The Air Mobility Force provides UK Defence with the ability to deploy, sustain and recover personnel and equipment, often over significant distance. Air mobility consists of three mission types: airlift; air-to-air refuelling (AAR); and personnel recovery.

- Air Commodore David Manning is a senior RAF officer and the Commanding Officer of the AMF.

- Hon. Gp Capt. Peter LR Hewitt served as Master Entrepreneur in 2018-19. He is a member of the RAF's 601 Squadron - a reserve unit of senior business figures that provides specialist industry and business support to the Air Staff.

Learn and get involved

Freemen are invited to join this webinar to launch our relationship and to hear Air Commodore Manning discuss the work of the AMF.

In particular, there will be an opportunity for Freemen with particular business and technology experience to become part of the planned Task Force partnering with the AMF, getting involved with the AMF's work, and supporting the Entrepreneurs' affiliation with the pivotal global work of this important RAF unit.

Teams videoconferencing details will be send out prior to the event.

** Please note this event is for Freeman of The Company of Entrepreneurs only. Unfortunately, guests places are not available. A limited number of Freeman places are available for this event, and please note that tickets are not transferrable.
