Breath of Life: The Body Says It

In this talk, Alice Malpass, an anthropologist working with the Life of Breath project, will explore how bodily sensations of breathlessness come to be measured as a symptom. She will describe the mis-match between the language used in research and clinics with the language used by those living day with breathlessness. If there is time, she will share how arts health approaches offer another way to tell the story of a life marked by disrupted breath.
