Galina Umanskaya, a pupil of the Moscow piano school, received her musical education from Dmitry Lyudkov, a professor at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. She continued her studies in London, where she graduated with first-class honours for her Bachelor's degree and was awarded the TCL Scholarship. Recently, Galina completed a Master's degree with distinction at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, studying under Mikhail Kazakevich. She is currently honing her skills with Professor Lyudmila Berlinskaïa in Paris.
She has refined her artistry through masterclasses with distinguished musicians, including Professors Margarita Fyodorova and Dmitri Alexeev.
Galina is a laureate of international competitions held in Spain, Russia, Hong Kong, Germany, Turkey, Belarus, South Korea, and Italy.
She has participated in numerous music festivals in Russia, Spain, and Greece, and has frequently collaborated with orchestras in Great Britain, Spain, and Russia.
Her repertoire spans a wide range of styles and periods, including works by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Brahms, Scriabin, Prokofiev, Stravinsky, and Messiaen.
