About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Have you ever seen a butterfly when out on a walk and failed to let your companion know? I didn't think so. There is somthing magical about the way they flit and fly that demands the joy be shared.

But Butterflies aren't just beloved and beautiful but vital barometer species, giving us a snapshot into the health of the landscape. Not only that but they themselves are under threat with changes in climate and human development.

Grove Sykes, Lead Land Manager East for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, regualrly sees butterflies in his day to day work out and about on nature reserves across the county and knows how important they are. He'll be here to fill those gaps in your knowledge about butterflies lives, their impact on the environment and our impact on them.

We expect this event to be popular so get your tickets while you can. (It will also be available via Livestream at Facebook. for those who can't attend)"
