Description

The University of Leeds has an impressive collection of over 15,000 coins, medals and tokens dating from the ancient world to the 1960s, from all around the world. Student and research scholar Emma Herbert-Davies introduces the collection through the story of her project on the eighteenth-century Winchester Coins Cabinet.


The Lunchtime Talk series is a collaboration between Leeds City Council, Leeds Central Library and Leeds University Library Special Collections, which delivers free monthly talks exploring at a diverse range of topics and subjects delivered by researchers and staff who work with their collections
