About the speaker:
David Hill QVRM, VR: Began his working life in the 1980s as a Royal Marine. Following this, he joined the reserves and was raised to the rank of Colour Sergeant, before beginning his 30-year career in the London Fire Brigade. After retiring from the LFB in 2024, he rejoined the Royal Marines on a full-time reserve basis. To-date, David holds 42 consecutive years of service to his country. He enjoys history, geography, whisky, and his private SOE collection
