About Neighbourhood Networks

Neighbourhood Networks are an organisation that supports adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and physical disabilities to be involved within their local communities. They are committed to incorporating lived experience within how they work, including through the Neighbourhood Networks Advisory Group (NNAG).

About THRE's Connectors Network

THRE's Connectors are the link between THRE and their organisation and help THRE to connect with their organisation and to the people and organisations they work with. They are interested in the issues, ideas and conversations around human rights and equalities, and are keen to help more third-sector organisations know about and start to take a human rights and equalities first approach. THRE Connectors receive:

  • THRE Connectors network: quarterly online connectors meetings hosted by THRE where connectors can network, hear from each other as well as the THRE team and specialist guests.
  • THRE information and signposting support: Connectors can contact the THRE team with human rights and equalities related questions on behalf of their organisation or the organisations they work with and access the THRE team’s experience and expertise, resources, and signposting to expert organisations.
  • Connectors newsletter: featuring selected info-sheets and resources to share with your organisation before they are launched publicly.
  • Access to fully booked THRE courses: if a course is fully booked, we will where possible increase the capacity to allow connectors to attend, by up to five additional places

If you are interested in becoming a Connector sign up online here or contact us by emailing thre@gcvs.org.uk or calling us on 0141 332 2444 and ask to speak to a member of the THRE team.

About THRE

THRE (Third Sector Human Rights and Equalities) is a partnership of GCVS and HTSI. It’s a nationwide project with funding from the Scottish Government Equality and Human Rights Fund to allow us to develop and deliver resources, training and networks to support third-sector organisations towards taking a human rights and equalities first approach to their organisational development and delivery. As such, course spaces will be prioritised for Scotland-based organisations.

We strive to make all of our events accessible. Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs when you book your place.

Tickets will be prioritised for Scotland-based third sector organisations, we reserve the right to cancel any orders from organisations outside of this group.
