About this event
Join us for a dynamic edition of the Leeds University Network for Sustainability in Higher Education (LUNSHE), welcoming educators and professional service staff from universities represented across the Yorkshire Universities group. Whether you have considerable expertise in sustainability education, just starting out or somewhere inbetween, LUNSHE offers a welcoming space to connect, learn, and be inspired.
This hybrid event is all about collaboration and sharing strategies, models, challenges, and successes in embedding sustainability into curriculum and wider student opportunities. The programme includes engaging case studies, lively discussion, and practical insights into what works and what we are learning along the way. The case studies will present examples from the universities of Leeds, Sheffield, York St John and Sheffield Hallam.
LUNSHE is part of the Climate Plan and Sustainable Curriculum initiative at the University of Leeds. Through this work we commit to giving every student the chance to engage with sustainability through their studies and beyond. This is the first time we have extended LUNSHE to welcome our regional peers.
This LUNSHE will be a hybrid event. The presentations and case studies will be available to online and in-person attendees. The discussion activity and networking will be available to in-person attendees only.
Hot drinks and sweet treats (vegan and gluten-free options included) will be served for in-person attendees.
When you purchase a ticket, you will be prompted on whether you will be attending in person or online.
This event is exclusively for staff representatives from member universities of the Yorkshire Universities group.
