LUSH Green Hub Tour, Upcycled Craft & Bath Bomb Making Experience

Go behind the scenes of Lush like never before with this inspiring, hands-on event inside our pioneering Green Hub in Poole – a place where creativity meets sustainability!

Running on limited dates during the school summer holidays, this exclusive experience invites you to explore how Lush tackles waste, reimagines materials, and makes magic from the things others throw away – all while giving you the chance to get crafty, make your own bath bomb, and leave with a bag full of eco-treats.

🌿 What is the Lush Green Hub?

The Green Hub is the beating heart of our commitment to sustainability – a 40,000 sq ft facility where six dedicated teams work together to close the loop on waste.

Since 2015, Lush has operated a Green Hub, and after investing £2.3 million to expand, we opened into a new space three times the size of our previous facility, based at Fleets Corner Business Park in Poole in May 2023. Here, we repurpose everything from store fixtures and water waste to product packaging and more – creating circular solutions across the business.

This tour is your chance to step inside that world:

• Learn how we reuse, recycle, repair and repurpose materials
• See real examples of circular economy practices
• Discover how sustainability drives innovation at every level of Lush

This is a rare look at a space usually only seen by Lush staff – now open to a lucky few this summer.

The fun continues with two creative activities:

✨ Upcycled Crafting Workshop – Use rescued materials to craft something meaningful and beautiful to take home

✨ Make-It Experience – Get stuck in and make your very own Big Blue Bath Bomb, a Lush classic filled with calming sea salt and uplifting scents

Please arrive on time, as this is a scheduled experience and we may not be able to make up lost time. If you're running late or need to cancel, get in touch as soon as possible — we'll do our best to help, but no-shows are non-refundable.

👟 What to Wear

For health and safety reasons, closed-toe shoes are mandatory for all guests. Please come dressed comfortably and ready to get hands-on — we’ll provide everything else you need!

🚗 Parking

There is limited free parking available at the Green Hub, but we cannot guarantee spaces will be available on the day. If you choose to drive, please allow extra time to find alternative parking nearby in case the on-site spaces are full. We strongly encourage using public transport where possible.

As part of the Green Hub tour, you may see areas or innovations that haven’t yet been shared with the public. Because of this, we may ask adult attendees to sign a simple non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before the tour begins. Thanks for helping us keep the magic under wraps!
