About this event

Luton Lea River Champions is a project to train volunteers to become River Champions to collect data on stretches of the Lea that are lacking, to build our knowledge of the river habitats, and allow partners working along the Lea to identify and deliver future river improvement works.

For this session we will be looking at outfalls, what they are and how you can help monitor them along the river Lea.

We will cover different types of pollution, where it comes from and how we can help report and manage pollution events.

This will be an online 'lunch and learn' style session, with a presentation and time for questions and answers.

This session will be recorded, so don't worry if you can't make it - we will be uploading this as a resource for future volunteers too!
