Want to get involved with riverfly monitoring in your local area?

Learn all about the ARMI riverfly monitoring method, how to identify species and what this means for water quality. This is a training event for volunteers who are eager to get more involved with their local river Lea, and do monthly surveys with other volunteers.

There will be some online training to do before the in-person session, more details will be sent at the end of August.

The in-person session will include practice of the survey technique, collecting a sample, health and safety tips and how to analyse your sample.

On the day please wear sensible clothes for the weather, all personal protective equipment and tools will be provided.
