OUTLINE structured Bra Making Masterclass:

This two day 'Introduction into bra making' masterclass will give students the chance to learn the skills and techniques involved in structured bra making.

You will learn how to work with very fine lingerie fabrics (including specialist trimmings/ laces / power nets and silks)and how to achieve professional finishing techniques.

During this intensive , interactive Online session you will learn step by step how to create a structured bra with videos, images , live demonstrations & Q&A.

You will receive:

- a sewing kit (including all specialist materials needed) via post

- a paper pattern in your requested bra size via post

- pdf instructions via e-mail

-2day interactive live sessions

Saturday

- Introduction-

- start cutting your bra

- learn about the different parts of your bra / technical terms

- learn how to sew with stretch fabrics

-learn how to use correct stitch options for elastics

- learn how to calculate different elastic trims for lingerie

- learn how to attach/sew with fine laces, silks, lace appliques etc

- learn how to assemble your bra step by step

Sunday

- continue sewing your bra : today's focus will be:

- attaching the bra wire to the cups etc

- adding addition decorations

- how to attach hook&eye tapes to your bra

& much more sewing advice & help if needed

What you will need:

- a sewing machine that does straight & zigzag stitches

-scissors /pins/ thread

- access to the internet / Instagram

PLEASE NOTE:

* you need to have confident sewing experience to get most out of this class *

WE WILL REQUEST A POSTAL ADDRESS FROM YOU with your booking + your size & choice of preferred materials.

If you live in the UK we suggest to book at least 2 weeks before your online session will start to receive your sewing kit in time.

EU : at least 4 weeks PLEASE SELECT YOUR POSTAL OPTION when booking

Worldwide : at least 6-8 weeks PLEASE SELECT YOUR POSTAL OPTION when booking

Due to Covid , postal services are slower then usual & if for any reason you have not received your Sewing kit in time , we will transfer you to the next online session for free.
