About this Event

Are you an established grower or landworker based in Wales?

Would you like to be part of delivering training & hosting trainees for an all Wales Agroecology Training scheme? LWA Cymru members Tom O'Kane of Cae Tan CSA and Nathan Richards of Troed y Rhiw are in the early stages of setting up the network and looking for participants.

18th October 2019.

  • Arrivals from 3:30pm for a farm tour
  • Meeting to begin at 4:30pm for a couple of hours
  • stay for a shared meal from 6:30pm.

This meeting is primarily open to potential hosts & trainers, rather than trainees at this stage. Or to employers that are keen to contribute to the conversation if not become actual trainers. We will be raking out what hosts have to offer & what they would require to develop a really comprehensive Wales based LWA agroecology training network.

The focus of discussion will be around horticultural training, but landworkers producing meat, dairy, fibres, fuel and everything in between are also very welcome to input at this stage. Don't worry if you can't make the date, this is just the early discussions so you will get a chance to input later on.

If you're interested in being involved but can't make the event then email Tom O'Kane on tom@caetancsa.org
