Event description

Description

Our next event will be 'The Power of Personal Projects' on Tuesday 23 April. We'll be in conversation with two fabulous guests: children's book illustrator, Emma Reynolds, and Senior Fashion Communication Lecturer, Jacqui McAssey.

Emma has recently started a campaign called #KidLit4Climate where authors, illustrators, publishers and bookshops stand in solidarity with the young people striking for urgent climate action. Jacqui is Founder of GIRLFANS Zine, a publication first created in 2013 to give female football supporters visibility and a sense of belonging in football culture.

We'll be discussing how projects can take on a life of their own and become something much greater than often anticipated.

Tickets are free and first come first serve. As ever, we ask that you please check you're available before reserving a place.

Thanks to our sponsor, The Office of Craig Oldham and our venue Colony Picadilly for enabling us to keep our event free.
