Event description

Description

We're pleased to announce our February event – a workshop with behaviour design studio Dura, hosted by founder and Design-psychologist, Lauren Kelly.

A slightly different format to previous sessions, this is a great opportunity to explore a different aspect of the creative process and take advantage of our host's specialist knowledge (whilst also meeting some lovely new creatives over a beverage).

Tickets are free and limited to 20 spaces. We just ask, if you aren't able to attend after confirming you give us at least 24 hours notice so we can fill your place.

About the workshop

Behaviour Design uses behavioural science to change human behaviour. Taking insights from cognitive neuroscience, psychology and behavioural economics. It can be used to improve products and services across consumer behaviour, organisational behaviour and public behaviour.

Behaviour change isn’t just about the larger scale, like encouraging people to save for retirement. It can also be used at the smaller scale to improve user experience. Things like automatically changing audio levels when you plug in headphones to protect people’s hearing to a healthy eating app that intervenes when it detects your location is near a McDonalds.

At Dura, we design for long-lasting behaviour change – in businesses, service design and UX design. In this workshop, we will share some of the internal tools we use to unpack people’s behaviours, design interventions and create better and more effective design solutions.
