Event Details

We're running a new Mountain Trike Ramble at the National Trust's Lyme Park which is just over 3 miles long but does have around 400 feet of climbing, so it's quite a challenging route!

Entry is free for Blue Badge holders, just show them your badge at the entrance kiosk. There are disabled toilets and a café that sells hot food and drinks.

Meeting at 11am at:

The Main Car Park
Lyme Park
SK12 2NR

The weather can change very quickly, so please wear and bring appropriate clothing. You should also bring a packed lunch and drinks. People who use other types of off-road mobility equipment are welcome to join the ramble, however, the route has only been checked using a Mountain Trike and access cannot be guaranteed.

Experience Community CIC is a not-for-profit organisation and we ask that individuals support our work through making a donation to help cover the cost of our work even if they bring their own equipment.

Thank you for your generosity!

You can see some great aerial drone footage of the house and park on YouTube:

Experience Community CIC

We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that helps disabled people and the wider community access the countryside through short walks, longer rambles using specialist equipment such as Mountain Trikes and Mountain Bike hand cycles. We run training sessions so that people can build up their skills, strength and confidence with the equipment so that they can then come out on longer rambles with us in the Peak District, Pennines, Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale. Additionally we run a Wheelchair Skills and Independent Living Course to help people improve their skills so that they can live more independently in daily life.
