Description

In this workshop students will discover what a colour actually is, understand how objects become coloured, and how Chemists can manipulate these aspects to produce dyes and pigments.

Students will investigate the differences between the Primary colours of pigments, and the Primary colours of light, before discovering how Chemists can manipulate these properties. They will also produce and investigate two natural dyes.

Please note: This workshop is strictly for 10–12 year-olds only. Discounted tickets are available to Ri Members. Find out more about how to join.

Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (fourteen calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
