Are you interested in deepening your understanding of carbon accounting and sustainability practices? Join ISEP Midlands for an insightful and interactive webinar that will introduce you to the essentials of Scope 3 emissions — a critical yet often challenging area of carbon reporting.
This session is designed to provide attendees with a clear overview of Scope 3 emissions, supported by practical examples and open discussion.
The webinar will be split into three parts which will include:
1. An informative piece on what Scope 3 emissions is and a focus on how to calculate supplier emissions.
2. A case study of Unipart example including the challenges faced when calculating their Scope 3 emissions.
3. Open discussion with the audience where we encourage them to ask questions and share experiences.

Vinesh Vegad - Frazer-Nash Consultancy
Bio
Vinesh Vegad is a Sustainability Consultant at Frazer-Nash Consultancy. He provides sustainability and decarbonisation advisory support to clients across multiple sectors and industries. He graduated with a MEng in Chemical Engineering from Aston University and is an active member of the Midlands ISEP Steering Group. Vinesh enjoys supporting clients with their journey to a low carbon economy and beyond.
Relevant Experience: Vinesh provides technical advisory support to clients on carbon accounting and decarbonisation. Vinesh areas of specialty lie within carbon accounting and reporting.

James Vance - Unipart
Bio:
James is Group Head of Environment at the Travis Perkins Group and has 19 years experience working in sustainability and environmental management across local and central government and the private sector. James is a full and chartered environmentalist with ISEP and an approved ISEP trainer.
Relevant Experience: James leads on the carbon reduction programme in the Travis Perkins Group who have a an ambition to be Net Zero Carbon by 2035 for Scopes 1 and 2 and to reduce their Scope 3 emissions by 63% by 2035 from a 2020 baseline.

Kieran Humphreys - Unipart
Bio
Kieran is Head of Sustainability Reporting with a specialism in carbon accounting. Kieran is also a registered environmental practitioner with ISEP.
Relevant Experience: Kieran plays a key role in the carbon reduction programme at Unipart who have an ambition to be Net Zero Carbon by 2030 for Scopes 1 and 2 and 2040 for their Scope 3 emissions from a 2021 baseline. Kieran's responsibilities include owning the data and calculations in relation to carbon emissions.
